How easy is it to take the hard tonno cover off?
It takes approximately 1-2 minutes to take the hard tonno off and to store it with wall-mount hardware (included). It is a 2-step process: first release the 2 struts and snap the loose end into the clips attached to the inside of the cover; loosen the twist knobs on the front hinge of the cover, and simply lift the hard tonno off and hang it on the wall.

How difficult is the installation?
The installation process on most hard tonnos is very easy. All brackets (4 on most applications) clamp on with no drilling required. The next step is setting the tonno on the truck and making any necessary adjustments. The whole process takes about 15-20 minutes.

Are all of your hard tonno covers paintable?
Yes, all of our hard shell tonno covers are paintable, but you are probably looking for our SE Smooth cover if you want a hard tonno cover that you can paint. How do I get my hard tonno cover painted?

If you purchase the hard tonno cover from an online dealer, take the truck cover to the auto body paint shop of your choice and have the cover painted to match your truck. Can I drive the truck with the hard tonno cover in the raised position?
No, the hard tonno needs to be removed and stored properly before hauling a load taller than the bed rail.

How is the hard tonno attached to my truck?
All hard tonno covers have been designed to be totally non-intrusive to the truck. No holes to drill. The entire installation is a breeze and requires only 1/2 inch & 3/8 inch socket or open end wrenches.

Can I add accessories (i.e. spoiler, bike rack, rail bars, etc.) to an UnderCover hard shell tonno?
Yes, however, any additions/modifications will void the warranty. If you do decide to add products to your hard shell tonno cover call our factory for advice as to where to drill and what size holes will be required for specific size fasteners.
